Welcome to the online office of the Minnesota District Council of the Assemblies of God. The Minnesota District Council of the Assemblies of God is composed of approximately 205 churches, 825 credentialed ministers, and close to 60,000 adherents and is part of a nationwide fellowship of churches consisting of over 12,500 churches, 36,000 credentialed ministers and approximately 3 million adherents. Our office in Minneapolis serves as a resource center for the ministers and churches of this state seeking to provide tools to enable them to better reach and serve their churches and communities.

Our reason-for-being is described as follows

Ministry to the Lord Through Worship: It is our purpose and mission to establish and maintain Spirit-filled places of worship in every community dedicated to the worship of Almighty God, in the person of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Ministry to the Lost Through Evangelism: In accordance with the clear teaching of Scripture, it is our purpose and mission to seek to relevantly present the claims of Christ to a lost and dying world. Our ministers and churches operate with the goal of helping individuals in their local communities and around the world better understand God and His wonderful plan for their lives.

Ministry to the Body of Christ: It is our purpose and mission to promote a loving, caring atmosphere among those in our own fellowship of churches and also in the larger body of Christ, thereby providing a climate in which believers can be nurtured in their faith and become strong disciplined followers of Jesus Christ.

There are more than 125 churches in the seven-county metro area and 80 additional churches in various communities across our state that are here to serve you. There is one close to you to help you on your spiritual journey.
